The Unpopularity of the Julian Calendar
The Romans didn't count individual days necessarily, but counted two and back from three particular days in a month. And so this would be the basis for the Julian calendar. Christians are going to have to decide to what extent they're going to follow the Jewish lunar calendar that Jesus himself used. After all, they start worshiping on the first day of the week instead of the last.
