The Pervasiveness of Prometheus Monitoring
This year, we decided really to focus on the web so that that gets into HTTP. 48% of endpoints being monitored in Prometheus tools existed in private IP and DNS zones. So again, very easy to find and very useful for a threat actor performing reconnaissance. We found over 200,000 Prometheus monitoring instances on the Internet.
