The Skepticism of Autonomic Sensory Meridian Response

When the term autonomic sensory meridian response asmr first popped up online a lot of people did greet it with skepticism and in fact when someone first created a wikipedia page for it it was promptly taken down because wiki editors said that it lacked scientific evidence although now the page is back up and there are no flags on it. There are also some researchers looking into who want to put people who claim to experience asmr into an MRI machine so that they can hopefully see what their brain looks like when it's being triggered  to try to figure out what's going on I believe there's a psychologist at dart myth who's doing this i mean that's fascinating i would love to to know
