I Was Born in a Dissident Family, and I Didn't Know What Was Going on in My Life.
In school, there was a sort of ideology of the system that would be transmitted to you. My parents never questioned it in part because i think they had internalized the censorship so much. So whenever they spoke about the system or about politics at home with very limited range of people that they trusted, it was always in cold language. And so i didn't understand what they were talking about, and i didn't think that it reflected anything on the system.
