Champagne Houses Burnt to the Ground
Things have been boiling in the first few months of 19 11. Villagers tipping emptying casks down the street, glass bottles being strewn all round village. The government are trying to keep a cap on it, but there are too many vineronds. In april 19 11, they do around £1m worth of damage - two averious champagne houses and about forty thousand vines trampled or burnt.
