The most a young woman could dream of, and this is the biggest dream you could have, was to marry a prominent man in the community. The only thing you could really hope for is that you're his first wife. Women in the FLDS Church would never be able to get a higher education or build a career. They couldn't voice their wishes because they were seen as selfish.
