The Soviets took a satellite image of Area 51 in 1988. In 1989, a man named Robert Lazar came forward and claimed to have worked for Area 51. Some conspiracy theorists claim that Area 51 is actually a giant underground process. The secrets around the Groom Lake base have started to leak into the public eye.
