As White as a Ghost?
We're on the Halloween theme today. So how would you use white as a ghost? Usually when someone is scared, maybe if they walk into a room and suddenly they see, I don't know, some murderer sitting in the corner with a knife in their hands,. Then you would immediately like lose the color in your skin. You would be as white as aghost because you're in pure fear. And can you think of anybody who says tough as nails or as hard as a nail? Actually, no one is coming to mind right now.
