Even before the coming of Islam people managed to enter Jannah because they rejected idolatry. Their fitra their innate nature told them that something is wrong so Zayid ibn Amr Ibn Uphal is a one man Ummah this shows us the status of the Arabs. The Roman Empire was upon Christianity and the Sassanid Empire or the Persian Empire was upon Zorastrianism and Zorastrians.
