The Importance of Visual Diagrams in a Story
The book is about the philosophy of physics and these fundamental concepts of space and time. The use of, among other things, the relationships in this material between phenomena and entities that you can observe and those that you can watch plays out throughout the book as well. I'm using this basically to get at the issue of diagrams and diagram. Some of the features that are represented in the diagrams can be quite accurately represent what's going on in the space time. There are other features of the diagrams that will be a bit misleading because they're obviously spatial objects and you're using them to represent spatial temporal structure. So you have to be a little cautious, but there are some things you really don't
