The Blood Stain
Ritzio was murdered in Mary's private apartments. The blood stain is still visible on these floorboards, even though the floorboards have actually been replaced. People still say that they can see with the blood stain. Walter Scott had a very amusing anecdote about somebody who'd been visiting in Victorian times and was fascinated to see this stain.
