Paul Sheehan had a very interesting career with tons of Victorian seemingly were in the test side. Made a test ton on his home ground at the MCG where he would later have a big influence running the MCC. He retired from the test team out of nowhere after the New Zealand tour in 1973, 74. After that point, he played two more games of Victoria and that's it. So 31 test matches two centuries, an average of 34.
