The Effects of Wolf Hunting on Ungules
Wolves are going to have a larger impact on the behavior of the ungulates than bears and lions. The wolves hunting as a group, traveling 30, 40 miles a day, will be something CPW is going to need tools to figure out how they deal with that. I predict they'll come out of the wilderness somewhat and congregate more in the valleys that are private,. And that's where they may start congregating. But yeah, I think the outfitters are really nervous. Even the agency has 80 some plus million dollars worth of their budget is elk cutting.
