In 1898, a young woman who had an abortion that went wrong and then took her own life. Elizabeth Taylor was charged with manslaughter but wasn't found guilty. Ten years later, Lily Turner dies after an abortion in Perth by a midwife calling herself nurse peers. And nurse peers is revealed to be Mrs Taylor. Nearly 25 years after her first prosecution, she's once again facing a potential death sentence for murder. As Elizabeth Taylor's now 61, for her, it's effectively a death sentence. One year into her sentence, suffering from a skin disease, she dies in September 1909.
