What Causes Black Friday Misbehavior?
70% of all these incidents happened at Walmart. People are particularly keen to get their hands on goods that are already discounted and discounted even deeper at Walmart. Black Friday is just inherently inequitable. It's not an equal playing field. You have six foot six men charging into a store competing with, you know, a tiny grandma over a toy on the shelf. And it's kind of a free for all. So more often than not, the guy who punches the old lady in the face is going to get the Bradstall.
