It's a story that hasn't been told before, i mean, at least on the scale. And to us it was a very funny story, and we did our best to make this a comedy about a cop. It just felt like so natural for comedy, pre nuclear football. Both of us were just doing our best to read as many books as we could. That's why historians ere writing on fiction. They're so jealous of you guys, cause you get to do them. Ha, ha.
