Women's Voices in the Old Testament
In the nineteenth centurywhat's probably most fascinating is how the scriptures really become a source of liberation for them. They were not drawing from the scriptures this this idea that they needed to be submissive and meek and not have a voice. I mean, when you look at their writings and the women's exponent, they don't. They're saying, this is our place, this is what we're bringing. And so one of the fascinating things about them is that they are more often turning to it for comfort.
