Preamps Are More Important Than Microphones

I'm not a cable snob, so yo, use what works. You don't use monster cables. I actually do. There is a monster cable somewhere in the studio. It's ridiculousoveri ood. O cares. They all work. Preamps are more important than microphones, as long as the microphone is decent. Get the fattest, frickan preamp you can get your hands on. Observe what you salyact. And i'm recording my drums for our record with two 100 dollar microphones as overheads and nothing else,. through these majestic preamps. My own take.
