What I Love About Black Twitter
Black Twitter was a place for Black people to find new people in a quick and simple fashion. It really was in a lot of ways Twitter just became the cool kids lunchroom tape. The Me Too movement, Mute Arkele, Black Lives Matter, Breonna Taylor, Amad Aubrey are all stories that even I remember covering where there was one narrative early on. There's still a world where if a company steps sideways, a jump's bad about something and always on the wrong side of an issue, there is an instant place where you can get some straightening.
