How Do You Contextually Contextualize the Boazian Intervention?

I think it's important to emphasize the Boazian intervention as anti-racist. I don't want to minimize its importance in the earlier chapters. A large drift of the book is trying to pinpoint contradictions, paradoxes, limitations of the Boazan intervention. The critique I develop is enabled in part by whiteness literature that's developed later and other critical race theory which has been developed later. There are Marxist forms of critiques of racism being developed at the time. It's more and more recognized that's utterly inadequate to confronting racist discourse today.
