The NYPD is deploying nearly 200 fully electric Ford Mustang Mach-E's to see how well EVs hold up to the rigors of patrol. First Deputy Commissioner, Edward Caban: "This is a game changer" In South Pasadena, California, the police are going all electric. The NYPD hopes to eventually electrify more than 9,000 vehicles.
