The best way to get injured as an aging male, if you sit down a lot in particular, is to try to go to a track and run. The first recommendation I would make if you're trying to mitigate injury and maintain some degree of athletic performance and recovery is number one - have a mobility practice. Second thing: Make sure that you consume 30 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up.
