A woman is raped every 16 minutes in India. That adds up to 90 rapes a day, 630 rapes a week and 2,700 rapes a month. Most of these rapes never make it to the front page of your newspapers or the screens of your TVs. But occasionally, comes a case that shocks a country to its core,. A case that brings millions to the streets in a fight for justice. In 2012, we all heard of a rape like that.
