The Importance of Focusing on the Process

I want to talk about the kind of artist's attention to the process. I just blogged this quote by Brian Eno that I thought was really beautiful, and he's been such an inspiration to me. He said all things grow out of poop. And so what he was saying is that when people start out in their creative work, it's always messy,. It's always there's an element of the unknown to it. We need to focus on the actual process of showing up.
