Cathy's parents sent her to pick up the prize money from a magazine representative. But she was kidnapped by an unknown man and held hostage for ten lack or one million neplis, rupees. The kidnapper told Cathy's family that if they didn't give him cash he would kill them immediately. Kathy is now in police custody but has not been charged with any crime.
