Trump's Message to Moderate Republicans
President Trump met with many of these moderate House Republicans on Tuesday. Usually the power of a president in this case might be to issue threats and cajole, but these are moderates who may not really care what President Trump may threaten or not threaten them to do. The problem with that method is that President Trump does not get into the weeds of policy. And you know, made no mistake, Republicans up here on the Capitol Hill are dying to have a unified conservative agenda with the president of the United States.
