Donald Carr picked up the first wicked at the Elizabethan age. That's the testy captain. India make 457 by the time they declare final word fave, Poli Amraguar gets a ton as does Pankaj Roy. There's one more chance for Ellen Watkins to try to save another test match and he gives it a go. He digs in for quite some time but eventually Vino Mancat brings him and done. And why would this bilateral series be talked about to this day? Because that was India's first ever win over England in a test match, February 1952.
