Do You Need Read Repair for Your Data?
Don at donaondube is almost ten years old. Now there could be data out there that has never been read an d, never been fixed up. So if you never read that that old data from a clienttohap, then it doesn't know that it's old on those otherre so it never gets up dated. The new systems that have the newerversion, something, they die. They they crash and burn, whatever. I guess the data don't exist. You're stuck with the old data. But jus kind of crazy to think like that's a valid strategy. It really goes back to you knowing your data in your use cases.
