What Is the General Feeling of the Internees in the Hutchison Camp?
Many of the internes put aside any resentment that they might have felt, in order to join in and help. Some made lifelong friendships and found work as a result of the relationships they made in the camp. The contrast between what happened in britain, which was driven by fear, compared to what happened in germany, which was a policy driven by hatred,. That sort of sets the interment chapter in a different light for many of the men.
