A reporter asked Susie Orman where she invests her money. She said, I put a million in the market and I put all the rest in bonds. And everyone in the personal finance community was outraged. But it's nothing. If you take a $10,000 balance and you count a 0.2, 0.3% difference, you're talking about a few bucks a month. You shouldn't be focused on investing your $5,000 and trying to eat out an extra turn. There's no more optimization you need to waste time on.
