How to Say Fancy a Chat in American English

Fancy can be like to like something, right? Or would you like to do something? So like, I think, PriSka, you said fancy a chat, right? Like, you know, like fancy coffee or something like that. That's sounds like very British English to me, but what do you think we say this in American English,. Lindsay? This idea of using this as a verb is really an England versus US thing.
