The Importance of Media Self-Critics
Getting a story right is really hard. Of the complex stories that I've had inside knowledge of, there's never been one that is even remotely accurate. It must be just so frustrating and difficult to be a reporter. There's a lot of lazy journalism, which is not even quite the same as bad journalism. But complaining about the media is one of our oldest habits.
