Iran's Past Is Not Enough

Iran has got a very problematic and mixed attitude to its pre islamic pass. Most iranians are patriotic and nationalistically drawn to the glories of the persian empire. But they don't know what to do with it, so ancient persian history is notl taught in iran at all. There's abiolaga lack of understanding of persia's own past. Yet there is this drive, especially by the young, to claim its antique heritage as part of what's happening there.
