Pegasus - The FBI's History of Lying to Us

Internal documents show how close the FBI came to deploying Pegasus. Christopher Ray, the FBI director, told Congress last December that the Bureau purchased Pegasus for research and development purposes. The New York Times shows that the FBI officials made a push in late 2020 in the first half of 2021 to deploy the hacking tools on its own criminal investigations.
