The Art of Taxidermy

Carl was a quiet soft-spoken pale, skinny farm boy who loved animals and nature almost to an unhealthy degree. While his friends were out studying and playing, Carl was out in the woods drawing realistic pictures of animals and plants in his own blood. Eventually, this led to taxidermy, which he thought was far more fun than farming. He spent hours and hours in his room studying a taxidermy manual ordered from the back of Youth's Companion.
