I was raised to Baptist and told that speaking in tongues was of the devil. I struggled for a long time before I could get free to speak in tongues. There is no way you are going to get there if you don't know exactly where you're going. God doesn't sovereignly just work things out and you just by fate wind up accomplishing what God's called you to do.
