If you have access to it, I would say become a regular at a sneaker store. That would be my number one piece of advice. Don't buy a super limited edition shoe from a random dude because you might get fakes. There are sneaker consignment shops now opening up in every city and they're small operations. So if you have to go to resale, look for the smaller sellers first.
