The Future of Speech Language Therapy
We would love to be able to contribute to a type of DBS therapy that could differentially modulate speech versus other motor symptoms. So we can understand the circuitry. We all have to understand why in some patients if you turn a DBS lead on a more location. And by the way, I don't know if I said response when your first question is DBS, it can improve speech. But what's going on at the speech when it's not the same thing as the patient getting great at kinetic? That we don't know.
