The Importance of Death

The wages of sin is death, right? And so death is even then associated with sin. So there's nothing sort of more unclean than death because it is the final outcome of the fact that we're sinful. A priest is not allowed to come into contact with a corpse because he would have defiled himself if he touched him and he was dead. You can think of the corpse of a person as the microcosm of a world gone wrong when they are dead.
