How Many People Died in Pompeii?

How many people died at pompeii? That's a good question, and one we're not sure. But so far we have about one thousand 200 ish skeletons. And of those, i can't remember the exact figure, but it's about 90 odd casts hav been made into, into plaster casts. The population of the town was probably somewhere between ten, 12, 15 thousand maximum.
