What Is De-Growth?

The United Nations projects that the population is supposed to grow on a planetary level to somewhere around nine or 10 billion by 2050. So if you have a growing population and you want to decrease the material throughput, there's some really serious issues in terms of how much per capita everyone gets. They say we have to put social limits on us collectively. It's not like eternal growth is a given.
