How Solar Farms Can Help America's Fragile Energy Grid
There are more than 5,000 solar farms across the U.S. producing about 3.5 percent of the nation's electricity. The increase in available solar energy is a much needed boost for power grids currently strained by the summer's record-breaking heat. Red tape and delays constructing power lines are holding back solar growth.
