i think the row with einstein had a lot to do with it. They engaged together in a public debate in 19 22, and bergson was perceived to be the loser. But i think there's other reason as to why berkson's influence wanes after the specially after the second world war. There's no berkeson archive set up after the war, which can often make sure philosopher's ideas endure. And i think berkson is a very optimistic philosopher.
