Laurent Blanc was successful in French domestic football. He built a great board outside that finished Leon's reign. And then, later on, his PSG side played terrific football. Unai Emery wanted to play a more reactive sort of game under Laurent Blanc. But I think he's got a few issues. One, he's been out of Europe for a very long time. Two, there are people who don't like him with reason, given the racism and sexism scandals that he's been embroiled in in the past.
