The Israah and the Miraj in the Quran
The word Israah means to travel at night. Al Miraj actually means the, if you like, item or the mechanism of rising up high. And this incident, Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala has referenced it twice in the Quran. So al-Israah from Makkah to Jerusalem, Al-miraj from Jerusalem to the heavens.
