Detection of Attacks in an Industrial Environment
The attacks are all based around the ability to put an attacking machine, my Kali Linux in the right up. We have to perform what's called ARPS spoofing which is pretty easy to detect if you have the right tools in place. A lot of these facilities don't have those means in place yet. An operator has to be honest toast to keep it up and to keep it going. So if anything like this happens that is way out of work, panic might have pushed the emergency button which stops the process.
