The Imprint of the War

Monwara Clark was born off rape in 1971 and adopted by a Canadian family. She talks about how the imprint of the war is very much part of her, not only her memory and of her identity, but literally it's imprinted on her body. And she as part of the post war policy of foreign adoption of children who were born off rape during 1971. So I think again, this idea of binary ways of thinking about the nation are really opened up by the questions that are raised in these films.
