The German Manufacturing PMI for June Is Down to 40.6
The final read for June is down to 40.6, which is the lowest it's been since May 2020. It does suggest that the softness in the post-pandemic covering China is definitely spilling back in terms of European manufacturing sectors. And then just lastly, on the price side in the German PMI, a really interesting anecdote here and said, despite the declining demand that began early last year, companies only started to cut their selling prices in June.
