How did you balance the needs to tell all of this new story while still serving as a wrap up to the series? What I kept my attention on was really what needed to happen. And these other things, all of these other social issues and stuff, are things that can put stress on my characters. But they are not, and they can create conflicts. It's doing is it is informing the way my characters are reacting to the conflicts. That dialogue illuminates the social issues that I want to talk about.
