The Importance of Sport for Mental Health
I'm astounded at how much you managed to fit into a day with all your coaching sessions. Do you take a nap ever? We were talking about this at the beginning of the program. Definitely. Sports saved myself when I was a teenager. It was my safe space somewhere that I could go. There's so much that sport can do for mental health. And I see it every day in the young people that I teach. So yeah, definitely has a big impact. The sports bag probably just as good as a rucksack as a pillow as we were hearing from our listeners.
